When we think of a teacher, we think of someone who teaches us how to do things. When I think of a teacher, I think of a very special lady who I know. This lady is unique because she has a vision problem and she knows how to teach people with visually impairments how to use their remaining vision. She'd doing just that with me and so much more. She's teaching me how to find my window of vision. She's also teacing me how to identify letters. She's teaching me things that I was never taught when I was younger. I am so greatful that she's teaching me and I look forward to learning from her. I love her with all my heart. She's a very special teacher and will always be in my opinion.
That's wonderful. It sounds as though you've got a really good connection with this teacher, and that her teaching style really works for you. I hope she knows how much you appreciate her.

but anyway, agree with skyla, there can be some pretty amazing and special people that come into our lives, and they never realize how much they affect us by just being them, and you should let them know how important they are to you before it's too late!
I'm glad you appreciate her, cause sometimes when going about our daily things, we forget and we just take these amazing people for granted!

Niki, this topic is an exceptional one. Just don't take those teachers for granted because they are preparing you for your future. I certainly hope she knows about what you posted today.
I will deffinatley tell her. She deserves to know. She just started working with me the other day but I've known her for a few years.

Anything, anything not to hear about this poor despised codependency that exists between a teenage girl and her teacher. And in two message boards at that. If anyone knew, they'd understand that this isn't the only place this teacher is mentioned and gushed about. It's on MSN, for sure and probably plastered on everything related to this girl. It would be one thing if it were a one-time thing, and definitely if it were a topic that everyone could talk about their personal role-models. But no, this lady has two boards especially for her, and there's no opportunity for anyone else to gush about their favorite teacher or their favorite Voc Rehab specialist. Well, I rest my case. This is all I have to say on the matter. Done.
I don't see what the point is in nikicunt starting yet another board about this useless drivvle. She started the first one, and it died. if she wanted to worship this teacher, she should have just added onto her other board. but no. because why? That would just make too much sence!

agreed Cam, and maybe harry potter should read more closely, cause this aint my topic. lmfao! so maybe attention seaking hore was a bit over the top, but it is, attention seaking. it's one thing to thank someone for being an influence in your life, but most people with brains don't put it all over the internet for people to see, cause really, it's not our business. most people, do things in private to show someone how much they're appreciated, like be a good student, and actually show the person by actions, not by embarrasing them by putting this sort of thing all over the internet.

Taking into consideration the turn this topic has taken, should it be moved? and, just a friendly reminder to those who don't approve of her essentially posting about the same person twice--responding to her post and harping at her probably won't make her stop. How about simply not replying? or better yet, take it to the rant board.
I posted this topic because I was proud of her. I didn't post it so all I'd get are negative comments. Why don't you take your negativity to another topic instead of picking on one person. well niki, we rested our case a long time ago, when you enitially made that first praze topic about your teacher. So answer me, and the rest of us zoners for that matter, this all important question.
Why would you start this particular thread, if you already knew you had started one about her previously, saying almost the same thing? I'm very interested and curious as to what your answer is to that one, if you even have a reasonable explanation at all that is.

omg, brandi. bloody brilliant! I'm in a rather bitchy, irritable mood, and have been lately for no particular reason, so if anyone who has spoken to me is surprised to see me agree with the strong language found in post twenty-three, I'm sorry if I shocked or upset you.
Don't be sorry. The point of the Zone is to agree and rant and rave how you want, not threaten and tattle on somebody whose just saying how they feel. I can sometimes be very blunt and harsh, I realize that. But I would never threaten or harm anyone for their own opinions, stupid or not. I get easily annoyed by things that maybe certain people would find trivial, but I can't help it. Somebody's lack of common courtesy and respect for other's opinions is both shallow and opressive. Writing a board about someone is fine, but give people an opportunity to write about their favorite role model too. Then, to post eight million boards on this particulagr person that none of us knows, is both selfish and totally asking for somebody's negative reaction. It's a risk you take when you do something as silly and foolish as what Nikki and certain people do all the time. I have no tolerance for immaturity and childish behavior, especially when there's no real reason for it. Jawsgirl, you are standing up for a lost cause. It's futile and stupid to try and quell the opinions and mindsets of other people, particularly on the Zone which says in the Terms that we are entitled to our opinions and thoughts and if you're offended, there are ways to ignore certain people and things you don't like. The CL's aren't our parents, and Thank God for that! So tattling and making idle threats is really not to your best interest. And if I were a CL, I would want to ban you for excessive tattling and making threats, instead of banning folks for just sharing their opinions. Maybe I wouldn't be such a great CL.
